Give away

I like dogs, like them more than people they don’t have to talk back, you can tell them anything, they keep you warm at night and eat your table scraps. Keep the cats out of the yard and the evil menacing car headlights and lawnmowers get barked at. They do fun things like leave squeaky toys where you will step on them and track muddy paw prints over your freshly washed floor.

It makes me sad though when I see all these beautiful dogs looking for homes, up for adoption.
You say why sad? Because I see folks saying things like this “look at our new puppy” and then again maybe six months later ”look at our new puppy” and I ask them what happened to the last one, "oh it wasn’t cute any more” “was being a nuisance” or “it got Parvo and died”
Makes me so sad, would you dump your child at the local hospital when it wasn’t cute anymore? Would you give your child to someone else because it peed on the floor or broke something it shouldn’t have? Do you not immunise your child?
Would you tie your elderly parent to a pole outside a nursing home just because they are too old to care for?
I know a few people just like that no sense of responsibility for anything, a new mobile phone or a tattoo is more important than a one off trip to the Vet for a Parvo needle that costs less than $30.
Watching Home and Away or X Factor is more important than taking the dog for a walk or throwing it a ball.
Do some research before you get a dog or any animal for that matter, what do they need can you because it will be you not the kids, feed it, wash and groom it and take it to the Vet?
Please, don’t just get a dog because it’s a cute puppy or the latest film had that kind of dog in it, get a stuffed toy those are cute, don’t have to feed them or anything and when it gets boring you can shove it in a corner and forget about it.

Always got me when that movie Beethoven came out people went and got St Bernard puppies, around 6-8 months after that film came out the shelters where full of St Bernard’s, like are you serious? Didn’t they watch the film at all? That dog caused more damage than a bull dozer, drooled everywhere dug its self out of the tiny yard it was enclosed in and went wondering by itself , some people are just mindless really they are.
Red Dog (it’s a movie) is the same that’s why there are so many Kelpies in shelters on death row, mind you they KILL them in some of those places
Yes Red Dog is smart and loyal but watch the movie, not smart enough to not eat poison (Vet bill there) and wonders around all over the place (council fine for unregistered wondering dog) the two dogs that play the part went through a pile of training too, you don’t just magically get a dog that can do those things it has to be trained even the stupid compared to a Kelpie, St Bernard in Beethoven had to be trained.

My current dog was given to us, free for nothing, she’s dug holes (to China) peed on the floor, pulled the toilet paper off the roll, barks at all and sundry and sheds mountains of hair.
She’s cost us a few hundred dollars in Vet bills and a few times we ran out of money didn’t have enough food for ourselves so the dog had rice as that was all we had to feed her.
I wouldn’t give her away though, she can be a pain sometimes but wouldn’t give her up she’s going to be eleven at the end of this year, getting old now, still wouldn’t dump her anywhere, she’s comfortable here in HER chair that no one else would want to sit in.

If I was going to write up her adoption bio it would read like this.
Micro chipped, registered, de-sexed and vaccinated she walks well on the lead.
Ice is a Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog, loves people, will chase a ball but doesn’t bring it back very well, even though she’s older she still likes to play tug. Does not like cats or small dogs, does not like wheels or being crated. Loves rides in the car (you will need ear plugs for that) as she is very vocal this dog can bark for 2000ks nonstop.
Ice likes all and any foods, chips are her favourite, will wait for signal to eat.
Up for adoption because (insert excuse here)

No you can’t have my dog, not giving her away I care for animals which is why I get so sad when I see bio’s like that, some people just don’t care at all they are under-educated about dogs about costs about breeds, about what some dogs need.

A dog does NOT need to be:
·        A status symbol
·        A fashion accessory
·        A souvenir from the latest film
·        Left in the back yard for days on end
·        Have people be scared of it
·        Be chained or tied up all the time
·        Just plain old abandoned
·        The “cute” accessory or talking point
·        Having puppies every year (eg your salary)
·        A xmas present for the kids

A few of those equal to a STUFFED toy, get one of  those instead!
Please don’t get a dog unless you have at least 15 years of time to spend with it.
Your excuse of “moving can’t take it” or “kids won’t look after it” is baseless because I can bet you took your TV with you when you moved and the kids school backpack’s neither of which the kids look after ...do they ??

Mothers and sisters

Only got one mother and one sister (TG for that)
my sister my little big sister whos only 5' 3" but 12 years older than me is a nut job
My poor mother was going insane with her around , I mean look ok she cleaned up and dusted for mum who doesn't dust or vaccuum like ever , my dad used to do that and since he's been sick mums had a cleaner come in but the cleaner was organised via the nursing home so seeing as my dad is longer there no cleaner
Thing is right my sister cleaned the furniture and dusted alright but no kidding you should have seen the kitchen floor , think it was polenta from the "thing" she was making I dunno what it was some kind of flat bread with no taste at all anyway most of it was on the floor
Still trying to get my head around her new hubbie ok so he's Indian and a Muslim that doesn't worry me he's very quiet and has no idea what you are saying half the time but he's only 36 years old that's younger than me, she's old enough to be his mother
Poor little bugga didn't get his dinner till 8pm the other night even though he's Muslim you should have seen his eyes light up when mum offered to get pizza for dinner but my sister says "but I'm cooking" this was at 6pm only took her another 2 hours for the food to arrive Mum had cooked for herself by then
Oh my sister keeps hiding stuff on mum as well , ok not exactly hiding but putting stuff away in the wrong places I was chasing her around and putting them back were they should go
Yes mum does need organising and I could have stayed another week down there , see that's what I used to do for mum clean the fridge out tidy cupboards that kind of thing not move stuff or make more mess
See I lived with mum and dad for longer than she did I got married at 19 and that's when I moved out only moving up the road , my sister stayed in England when we moved to Australia she was 17-18 , came to OZ when she was 24 but didn't live long in mum and dads house
I've lived with them longer I KNOW where stuff goes , even though mum has moved house the "things" are still in the same places you don't move stuff or mum can't find it and if you make mess you clean it up or its still there next time.

I think my sister will be ending up a little shorter soon because mum is going to whop her on the head with the frying pan

My MIL

Let me tell you about my mother-in-law
My MIL is a tiny white haired woman (turned totally white when she was 32), she's spent a lot of time in mental institutions just totally withdrawn in herself and I know exactly why... her husband!
Really there is nothing wrong with the woman apart from being deaf and not hearing a lot of things which wasn't picked up by the hospital either, don't know why because I worked that out years ago
It's not a mental illness that drove her mad but the FIL alcholic, abusive but only in words
"stupid woman" "gawd you are thick" I heard the words the family didn't
So many times I just wanted to yell THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH HER
but you know one of my sisters-in-law wouldn't have her kids around my MIL because she had a mental illness and that upset me so much, depression yes, deafness yes, violent outbreaks after one too many abusive words yes but mental illness no and it angered and saddened me that such a sweet caring woman wasn't allowed to see her own grandkids. Mine she held, mine she changed while I shouted in her ear just so she could hear me.
First time I ever met her was before my X and I where married a thin withdrawn woman standing off to the side of the family gathering staring off into space, one hand on the elbow of the other arm, I went to talk to her but was pulled away "don't talk to her" I was told.
She didn't get to be at our wedding, we visited her in the hospital scary horrible place, strange looking people coming up asking for cigarettes and smoking them down into the butt
She walked with a limp, I asked why, apparently she had jumped from a hospital window and broken her leg it was pinned a 8 inch long plate with 5 screws in her ankle.
That plate stayed in for years more than it should have, thats when I saw it not on an X-Ray but as a souvenier
My MIL did eventually come home, now of course she turns her hearing aid off, she don't hear his words anymore, she still chain smokes and one lot of grandkids call her smoky nana I wouldn't let mine call her that though it only carrys on what FIL does.
No more will it take all 4 boys to restrain her just to take her away back down to the hospital after she had just had enough of his words and went crazy, throwing things and clawing at them all. She just turns off her hearing aid and his mouth just flaps away
Of course I could never say anything except once in a moment of anger at my X when I said to him "you are just like your father" which he was heading towards, the alchol, the words he did in a way stop some of it but even words hurt too much after a while

My MIL's name is Josie she smokes like a steam train, is deaf as a post, walks with a limp and has a weight problem caused by medication that she didn't even need
I left that family when I left my X they never liked me anyway Josie was my favorite person even though her not hearing could be a PITA she was my favorite not the FIL
He of course for birthdays and the like got things like a recliner chair and booze (yeah booze, "he's an alcholic you idiots" where my thoughts too)
She on the other hand got a vaccuum cleaner but with it being upright and her strength not being good hasn't ever used

It allways did make me seethe inside that he was fawned over and she was overlooked, I know the boys where scared of him (all 3 of them) but my X never told me anything about him actually hitting them maybe it was only words that they where scared of but even still words can cut deeper than any knife I know my X was so very much like his father I got out, I left but Josie no she never did well in a way she did get away, trapped away in a hospital, hardly any visitors no love from the family and alone for so many years I am so glad that didn't happen to me I got out before it it did

Want to be confused?-- 28 May 2007

28 May 2007

09:39 PM - Want to be confused?

This is like Days of Our Lives this is or Young and the Restless
Adrian is the youngest of five boys
Now his older brother has never married, he's the one who lost part of his leg to diabeties and looks after dad
The second oldest married late and his wife allready had a daughter who now has a 2 year old of her own
The third and fourth now this is the confusing part not sure on this myself but anyway I'll try to explain
We will call them M & G , M is the third or middle boy and G was the baby before Adrian was born and never took well to a new baby brother but that's another story entirely.
Anyway M married a woman called J and he is the father to two of her kids, but J moved in with G after a while and had another two kids by him
So the kids are brother and sister but also their own cousins
All in all theres 8 kids in total to the two brothers but to different women...I think
The oldest is 19 this year the youngest 8, I think most of them are G's, well it is a bit hard to tell they all look alike
Sometimes they will be with thier mother somtimes with G sometimes with M it's so confusing and I've never been able to work out which one is which

I don't mind M he's fairly even keel he is, works hard but he does let the kids push him around the old "If you don't let me do what I want I'll go live with xxxxx" depending on the mood sometimes its mum sometimes G, see I think he's a little scared of being alone so he lets the kids basically run rings around him it was the older four that drove the mother of the youngest boy away (she's a bit snoooty anyway)
But G uggh you know he's about the only guy that I could punch right in the face allmost did one day, of course most of that behaivour is because he got ousted from the "baby" spot, so he is like "thats mine and thats mine and THATS mine!"
Arrogant he is, he's just married a woman from Vietnam or some place she's only 25 years old as well, we will see what happens with that because I know those kids umm his brothers kids yeah those
See they haven't ever got punished for anything because they allways had "if you do that I'll leave and go to xxx" and they do as well.
Problem is that one place isn't any better than the other they shoot backwards and forwards kids will push you I know that got two of my own had housefulls of teenage boys and girls, girls are worse though the boys just sit and play Playstation all day, except for the broken nose incident his fault he ran straight into the glass door but the girls arggh well ok not the girls but the big sisters you know this great big teenage girl just barged through by front door one night no knock or nothing, just came straight in goes out to the back of the house to the rumpus room and starts yelling at her sister to come home so anyway she got yelled at by me, never saw her again yeah I'm a big bully but you have to be she was old enough to be adult about things and you just don't do that.
Wasn't my kid I could yell at her, problem is when the kid in question has got ammo on you eg: the X the first thing they are going to say is mum/dad yelled at me for no reason waaaaa , we have all heard that one now me I'm like yup, yup no reason yeah suuuuuuurrrrrre because I know what kids are like they will play one on the other just to see the reaction. Yeah sure the X may be a totall utter nut job (I know mine is) but I know kids as well and they do it to granmas too, they know exactly how far they can push mum and how far to push granma to get something and how far to push dad ..pity we don't have stairs ..whoops did I say that ... don't read that bit

Family

I was going to post something else here but I've forgotten what it is, got a bit upset before and its given me a headache for those of you who can't read my Little Fairy blog its all about family basically
Ok OK allready, I'll grab it for you
I even checked my hotmail and theres a tiny message from my brother there in with all the spam stuff that that email is full of as well, he's here in Austraila again his email said "here for 2 weeks did you know your dad is sick"
Thats it, nothing else I didn't reply I know my dad is sick he has parkinsons I know he's sick, my mother has my mobile number she has our house number but do I get phone calls? No I don't
I talk to my daughter on MySpace my mother don't tell her anything either
It annoys me everyday Adrians family is on the phone to him every single day "hello how you going, you ok" birthdays they call each other, new years the phones go mad, christmas the phones go mad but not my family I get nothing no birthday cards, not even a christmas card and you can forget phone calls as much as I hate talking to my mother on the phone ( you can put the phone down and walk away come back 5 mins later she's still going on about something no idea what and has NO idea you left) and in IM she's worse I won't IM with her, you could be there all day but hey it would be nice you know for her to ring me I've been here 4 years and never ever has she rung me my X has drunk of course but not my mother, I get TXT's from my daughter and I don't expect my mother to be able to work out TXT'ing but dang she knows how to use a phone and she knows I don't have enough credit on my phone to ring her
I would love to go home right now my dad is sick my brother is there and I haven't seem him in years (he lives in the UK) but I just can't my car is broken down and the cost well it would cost $500 at least we don't have that i'm stuck here with his family ringing him every day and it makes me so sad inside

see I don't have anyone here not RL people only the people online and I can sit here feeling so danged alone sometimes, not that I had any friends where I was before the kids loved me allways had a house full of other peoples kids or my X's friends but never any of my own, I didn't go anywhere wasn't wanted and I'm not even wanted by my own family

For My Dad...... February 08, 2006 9.30pm

For My Dad...... February 08, 2006 9.30pm
What is Parkinson's disease?

Parkinson's disease is a chronic, progressive disorder of the central nervous system that belongs to a group of conditions called motor system disorders. Parkinson's is the direct result of the loss of cells in a section of the brain called the substantia nigra. Those cells produce dopamine, a chemical messenger responsible for transmitting signals within the brain. Loss of dopamine causes critical nerve cells in the brain, or neurons, to fire out of control, leaving patients unable to direct or control their movement in a normal manner.

What are the symptoms?

Symptoms of Parkinson's, which often appear gradually yet with increasing severity, may include tremors or trembling; difficulty maintaining balance and gait; rigidity or stiffness of the limbs and trunk; and general slowness of movement (also called bradykinesia). Patients may also eventually have difficulty walking, talking, or completing other simple tasks
Parkinson's disease worsens over time

Who has Parkinson’s?

Michael J. Fox

And my dad he turns 84 this year

My dad

He stands with his hands on his hips

He’s slightly stooped

He coughs from the coal dust of many years ago

Thin and grey now

But I remember a tall middle aged man

Who would sit me on his lap and let me stroke his fine black hair

Already starting to grey a little by the time I was born

That’s my dad

A great grand father

Like his clock

Tall but slightly battered through travels of many countries

But now my dad has Parkinson’s his hands wobble

He has trouble moving

His clock a great, great grandfather of a clock will outlast him

Like it has other generations of our family

My Big Brother..... for April 05, 2006

My Big Brother..... for April 05, 2006
My brother

My brother is intelligent has a BEng (Hons) degree in Electronic and Information Engineering but he didn’t even get his O levels till he was in his 30’s, didn’t have a license to drive a car either ( always had a bike then a Reliant van) he is dyslectic and couldn’t pass the written test. Mum says that when he was 9 or 10 he said to her “one day mum there will be a machine that does all my spelling and writing for me” that was in 1965 (approx). Now he programmes those machines.

My brother was tall, dang it everyone is tall when you are 5 and that’s how I remember him, he is over 6 foot tall though and was that tall when I was 5, no wonder I felt so small next to him, I used to follow him around reach out to touch the electronics parts that he had all over his room. Parts of TV sets, radios all kinds of diodes, nice little sharp things, that I wasn’t allowed to touch but he did let me play with his electric guitar ( a replacement for the acoustic one that my sister broke……on his head! )

My brother went through a stage when he wouldn’t eat meat and he went hippy, this was the 60’s everyone was either a hippy vegetarian or a vegetarian hippy, he even went off to join a commune but called my mother up and asked to be brought home after two days because hippies in the 60’s didn’t wash .Mum said neither do you but she went and got him anyway

My brother likes heavy metal and of course had a collection of records that he used to play at full volume and I used to dance away to them. We sent him a copy of Let there be Rock – AC/DC one Christmas and his son who was 2 at the time drew on the cover that of course completely wrecked the album, my brother was not impressed

I remember my brother as this large guy with long dark hair kind of smelly (motorbike oil) who used to tease the carp out of me but loved me very much and I loved him

After we moved to Australia he got married to a woman who was only something like

5 foot tall my Aunty said she looked like a doll next to him, I never met her by 1979 she had gone back to Yugoslavia (don’t ask) and he had his two boys with him when we went back for a visit, mum has a picture of me holding one and the other standing beside me amazingly the older one D remembered me when he visited here with his wife in Dec 03

When my brother visited in 99’ I hadn’t seen him in over 20 years, he was not only broader but bald as well! So I have an old bald brother who now has four kids (2 his and 2 his wife’s) who have their own kids which makes me a Great Aunt to some little children in France who I’ve never seen only in photographs

My Sister....April 03, 2006 10.30pm

My Sister....April 03, 2006 10.30pm

Sisters and brothers
I have a brother and a sister they are 14 and 12 years older than me, not a great age to be to have a little baby come into the house .My sister is mad totally mad, I can remember my 5th birthday and there was this tall skinny girl/woman there in a yellow dress, when I say skinny I mean skinny Calista Flockhart skinny .She was stood there at the side of the room the look of contempt for me on her face she hated me, she hated the attention I was getting I mean face it, I was cute I was blonde I was 5years old ,you can’t help but be cute she wasn’t she was dark haired tall lanky and bulimic .The bulimia started when I was born I think ,my sister had been the youngest for a long time when I was born there was suddenly another smaller cuter person to not only have to compete with but to be built in babysitter for as well .I grew up for the first few years of my life with the sound of throwing up ringing in my ears even now I cannot stand that sound and even if I feel nauseas myself I cant throw up

I don’t think I’ve ever seen my sister with a smile on her face, she was never a happy person, when Mum and Dad immigrated to Australia my brother and sister stayed in England, my bother was 19 he had his own flat (with a dirty, big, fat furry fake spider mobile in the lounge) .He somehow convinced my sister that neither of them should go besides my sister was at Maidstone art college by then and she wanted to continue her studies ,my aunty was still in England and she looked out for them both. Mum and Dad should of made them come too, staying behind made my sister worse she felt totally abandoned when they did that .7 years later she had already been married to a hippie looking fella in England that she had met at art college and already divorced him before she finally arrived here in Australia in 78 at age 24

Interesting fact = in 1978 I was 12 my sister was 24 and my mother was 48

My sister spent most of her time with us in her room chain smoking Old Holbourn before she married her second husband, her depression and eating problems didn’t help the marriage and the poor guy didn’t understand, having her own children didn’t help either my sister had major problems with anti natal depression and the eating/food problems continued. My sister now concludes that it was wheat and additives in food that caused all her problems (I used to have a link to her MSN Spaces blog that would make interesting reading but I’ve lost it) and has moved as far away from my Mum and Dad as she can possibly get Dubai! with her third husband, she is still batty and drove my Mother crazy the other month when she was here in OZ for a visit, with her eating habits My sister by the way in all of her years (not saying how many, she’s 12yrs older than me you work it out) has NEVER learned to cook she can air brush you a fantastic painting or paint you a sign or waffle on about food additives but she cant cook

This is my sister I love this pic of her it's the hands that amaze me

So who was to blame for my sister being the way she is? Her therapist told her to blame her mother ….but I don’t think so

I will tell you about my old bald brother next time

We Met On The Net November 21, 2005 11.30am

We Met On The Net November 21, 2005 11.30am (repost from 360)

“Oh that’s your girlfriend is it and how did you meet?”
“We met online”
“Pardon”
Followed by a strange look that just says
**you met on the internet isn’t that just for pervs ,there isn’t any real people on the net they are all desperate people ,you aren’t desperate are you, she could be an axe murderer, after your money, your mad, what’s the internet?**
We get them all, one guy even asked us to find him a girl online we were like yeah right you don’t go out looking it just happens.
Yes Deadman and I met online yup, yup we did, first thing I ever typed to him was “gee you are loud” and he hasn’t ever shut up since

I drove 1000 ks to get here a long hard journey through the
night took me longer than I thought too because something went
wrong with the car ,it stopped right in the middle of a T
junction just on the outskirts of this little one horse town. I
had to push it off the road and lucky I did too because a huge
Semi trailer went blasting past not 5 minutes afterwards ,my
little car would have been squished I slept in the car that
night and when I woke up walked to the garage of course it was
shut ,flipping 7am wasn’t it so I walked back to the café which
was just opening sat and had a coffee while I waited and called
Deadman when my heart had stopped pounding I was so nervous
after all I was running away from home to be with some stranger
that I had met in a chat room

When I had my car fixed and filled with fuel I set off again,
dang mobile kept cutting out of service so I could only ring
when I was 5 mins away and when I got to actually here I had no
idea how to find his place in fact was totally lost and ended up
stood by the side of the Welcome sign to the town that happens
to be by the local sewerage works I was thinking gee this is
just great this is nice place to meet for the first time the
Sewerage works :-|

The look on his face when he saw me ,beaming smile ear to ear I
tell you a man could not of looked more happy than he did that
day and hug me I thought he would never let go

Anyway I followed him to his tiny flat, tiny isn’t actually the
word more like miniscule, so small that I had to climb over the
bed just to get to the bathroom ,a deaf guy on one side who
banged and crashed around all the time ,how someone who cannot
hear can make so much noise I don’t know and on the other side
an old guy who would play extremely loud country music at 5am
who also has a dog who barks continuously too I don’t think I
ever slept while we lived there

We had to get out of that place, the old guy was a perv and the
deaf one he tried chatting me up in ASLAN of course, most of
what he signed I had no idea but that one I did!

Finally after about 5 months of being squished into that place
we got to move into this house don’t ask me how but he had a
full truck load of stuff crammed into that tiny place what was
it the Tardis? If you have ever been in the house we are in now
that flat was only as big as our lounge room is here, how it all
fitted I will never know of course we do have a dining table now
which we didn’t have before I used to eat sitting on the bed
with a folding table in front of me, which was resting on the TV
that’s why I had to climb over the bed to get to the bath room

Now we have both out computers set up in one of the spare
bedrooms ,my little 8 gig is back to being a monitor stand again
I’ve gotten used to my monitor at that height and it feels weird
to not have a desk top comp

Yes we are online at the same time did have a network going at
one point but it kept dropping out and when he shut down it
knocked me offline so now we connect straight into the modem .A
lot of people don’t believe we are in the same house they think
that because we are two separate people we in a different place
nope I am 3 feet away from him but we are two separate people
we have been called ying and yang ,both offline and on .Online
he is loud, sometimes obnoxious even downright nasty to some
people you could even say rude, he likes to talk on mic. I can
be pleasant ,I don’t talk much and I like to type .We will both
say what is on our minds though I tend to do that offline ,in
line at the supermarket where ever, I will tell people in
general what I think ,he won’t do that

Offline he is the nicest, warmest friendly person a real sweetie
I saw through that gruff online persona the first few times we
talked in IM that’s why I love him because he is so warm and
fuzzy (that’s a secret btw he says he’s not but he is)
I know it’s weird but sometimes we will talk in IM still and did
when frog was here as frog’s comp was between us and we couldn’t
talk to each other any other way

So I sit next to this wonderful hunk of a man who loves
wrestling and AC/DC, who loves to talk, who is warm and cares
about me a hell of a lot, he likes to cook and can work a
butchers knife(No, No he’s not going to do Psycho thing LoL) ,
he’s even handy with the vacuum cleaner.
I sit next to him all the time I am sitting next to him now;
he’s moderating on forums at the moment and in IM with site
managers that why he don’t 360 very much
So if I mention the Deadman I don’t mean the Undertaker off WWE
I mean the man sitting next to me, he does look more like
Mankind than the Undertaker though that's why the pic of Mankind
if you was wondering

Here are a few more pictures of the fella who sits next to me
The first 2 are at his desk here (sorry they are small)

This is my favorite pic of him tho he sure does look sexy in that hat

Kids..... Tuesday October 25, 2005

Kids
Yes I do have kids , got 2 of them my son is turning 18 in November and my daughter is 15

The pic at the top was taken when he was 10 and she was 8, the thing with the hair sticking up is my X and the one with glasses is me ( I don't look like that now I am a lot thinner, lot grayer and my hair is a LOT longer )

I haven't seen them since April 2003 my X wont let them ring me and I can't ring them ,I get to talk to my daughter on MSN sometimes but not very often

I can't really write much here I will get too upset I do miss them so much and one of Deadmans twin nieces is SO much like my daughter it's not funny they make the same face like this

Here is a more recent pic of them don't worry about the wine glass that's on the table because it's Christmas last year

I don't have any more recent pictures of them my X also refuses to send me photo's

My Grandma --- Monday September 12, 2005

My Grandma died in the late 70's almost 2 years to the day that my Grandad died she said that she wouldn't last long without him they were soul mates.
She went back to England for a visit that year and never got her return trip , she got a blood clot from the plane and died 2 days later, she was warned by the doctor "you are over weight, you smoke don't go on the plane" but my Grandma being my Grandma she had to do the opposite of what anyone told her to do, she wanted to go to England and that was it , she was going!

My Grandma taught me naughty songs and how to cut out paper dolls and make trees from paper she also taught me how to play poker (with match sticks)...is there any other way?

I think I get my silly humour from her. I loved staying with her she had a TV set but it was hardly ever on we had so much fun . I would help her cook , she never used a recipe book, I'm the same ,just throw stuff in I specialize in sock stew (everything in it but the sock lol). I dont smoke while I'm cooking though , Granma did ....... bits of ash in ya soup anyone?

My Grandma was funny, round (5 ft and 90ks), never had her teeth in except at Xmas and weddings .

My daughter is so much like her , gives you the exact same look just like that one. I named my daughter after her great Grandma I knew when she was born that they would be the same and they are except my 15 yr old daughter has all her own teeth thats her in the top pic, I don't normally put pics of my kids anywhere on the net but that's from 2 years ago and you can't really see her face.

My Mum Friday September 9, 2005

My Mum
My Mother

My mum is in her late 70's,she still has black hair(i think it's helped a little) with a bit of grey in in it,she has always been highly intelligent even as a child she got into a bit of trouble at school for knowing more than the teachers did and even though she was in pain from terrible ear infections that at that time couldn't be cured by antibiotics she coped with teachers accusing her of cheating on tests

My mother had her ear operated on and the source of the infection removed so now is totally deaf in one ear ,that didn't stop her though she lived though WW2 ,survived being hit by a car, falling down a flight of stairs, she has even broken her leg twice

My mother has been using computers for years (she started on a 286 with dos)to write, and to compose newsletters for various organizations, her typing speed has fallen a bit over the years but that doesn't mean that her actual content hasn't. Funny thing though my mother has only just discovered Blogs and I've been helping her set up her 360 ,it would be easier if I was actually there ,trying to help her in an IM box from 1000ks away is difficult but we getting there

NOTE: my mum is my mum always be my mum even though she does have a real name lol
